Waiting validator activation time and nominator selection issue

I have set up a validator node on Polkadot network and have been waiting for it to become active. However, I am not sure how long it takes for a waiting validator to become active. Additionally, I have noticed that my nominators are not getting selected even though they have enough stake. Can anyone provide insights on the waiting validator activation time and the nominator selection process? Thank you in advance.

Validators are selected from a group of the top 60 validators who have the highest amount of bonds. However, the selection process is not solely based on the amount of bonds, but also involves a sophisticated algorithm known as the Phragmen Method. This algorithm takes into account various factors to ensure a fair and balanced selection of validators.
